Hi everyone! Welcome to Thursday’s surf report from Playa Colorado. It was actually slightly larger and more consistent today than yesterday so we can’t complain at all.
Lefts dominated the lineup today. I saw quite a few mini kegs march through this morning.
Lesther cruising with laid back style. If he’s not going for the tube here then he is definitely preparing for a big turn.
Textbook mechanics through his bottom turn.
Wham! He fully unwinds and sprays everyone out the back haha!
This goofy-footer has been here for at least a couple of weeks now and he’s been getting some good waves. One day I think I saw him surf for 5 consecutive hours.
To tack on some more points after his tube, he blasted through a quick snap.
Here he is again on a right, but this time he truly laid it all on the line. He hit the lip and rotated through the turn at full speed.
Oscar dabbing and flexing on us with this backside air.
Tony Z gets some time in the limelight today! We’re trading places haha. Tony keeping up with Lesther during this snap.
And another snap he had to nurse through on the inside section. Good combo Tony and way to stay light on your feet to ride through the fat section here.
It looks like Sophie has been working on her rail game! Good mechanics, rotation and spray on this south peak right. She gets the closing shot today. We should see even a little more energy in the water tomorrow, so fingers crossed and hasta mañana.

Hey amigos! Welcome to Monday’s surf report from French Fries. The waves were pretty much firing when I rocked up to take pictures, but just like yesterday the wind went side-shore as soon as I put the camera away. At least some surfers caught the magic window.
Hey amigos! Welcome to March 1st’s surf report from French Fries. The waves were really fun in the late morning and early afternoon. The wind direction was perfect, but then flipped side-shore right as I went to grab my board haha.

What’s the haps my Monday surf fans?!?!! Just another beautiful dreamy sunny (and not to mention really HOT day out there today) but the cool aqua colored water was the best way to cool down out there. They said it was supped to be onshore. . . but we’ve been graced by super clean glassy..
Welcome people to Nica-Land’s sunny Sunday Funday! It was actually pretty fun and super rippable out there on the high tide going up today. Beautiful weather and tropical perfect water…. So go ahead & Jump on in through the jungle trees there and take a little peek for yourself!
