PLAYA COLORADO
Happy Sunday and Nicaragua Independence Day. We have some fun chest to shoulder high surf running today. @tonyzphotos reporting.
The surf was looking really fun and playful this morning as you can see here. This guy setting up for some tube time.
The rights seemed to be a bit more dominant today. Nobody was complaining about that.
There were some fun looking lefts too when they happened. Alvaro taking the top off this one.
And this is another great looking left with a ramp.
Grant stayed up the beach away from the crowds and found a nice section to carve on.
Glassy warm water fun.
Rounding out the report with a nice backhand blast. The forecast is calling for similar conditions the next few days. Stay tuned.

Hey everyone! Welcome to Wednesday’s surf report from Colorados. The waves were better by all measurable metrics today. It was still walled up and slow, but there were definitely some 10 pointers to be had.
Hey amigos! Welcome to Tuesday evening’s surf report from Colorados. The swell was bigger and stronger today, but it was very slow between the sets. I think the lack of a secondary swell combined with the sandbars not being in perfect shape made for long waits.

Happy Friday everyone! Here’s some of today’s surf action from Colorados. The size of the surf roughly held constant from yesterday, and I would argue the shape and consistency were even better today relative to yesterday. Talk about a late swell kick!
