Somewhere in Nicaragua
We’ve got Roberto “Lucha Libre” Garcia with the surf report for today. It’s chest to head high on sets, the wind is offshore and the water is super cold. Check out the line up, all the locals were out.
Augusto La Gaviota Chamorro keeps practicing everyday for the upcoming Central American contest this weekend in Guatemala. They are so exited with the contest but they are not complety happy because I am not going to travel with them to cover the contest.
Larry Carita de Venado Davila is going to represent Nicaragua in the juniors contest with his friend Rex Calderon, Junior Martinez and Darwin Jacamo.
Gerardo EL Mope Miranda is going to stay down here in Nicaragua because he didn’t get all the money to cover the trip. Here he is cutting back with a nice style.
Jamir El Coki Brox will be enjoying at Maderas during the contest. He likes to surf with no crowd.
Zamir El Peluche Duarte is enjoying his new life without a chick. You can go on party whenever you want my friend.
Roque Balboa Calderon is getting ready for the trip. He’s one of the four guys going to Guatemala.
Oliver El Monito Solis is going to wait for a big swell during the next week. All the big ones only for him.

This is Roberto with the surf report and spanish class for today. We could not make it out to the beach. So we went to the bay and take some shots, we guessed Maderas might be head high on set waves, the wind light offshore and the water still cool.
Today is the fist day of the Maderas Semana Santa Torneo de Surf (it’s a surf contest). And as you can imagine, the swell has died. It’s still about knee to waist high and offshore winds, but the waves are just not coming in. Here is a picture of the boys.
