Somewhere in Nicaragua
Hi guys, a day after the contest it looks like all the local surfers in Santana took the day off and we only have unkwnon surfer out here today. It’s chest to head high on sets and the wind is offshore. Check it out.
Even when we do not have locals in the water we have people taking off on other surfers. Maybe they like to share everything, be carful guys!!!
We always have at least a ripper surfer in the water. Here is another unknown with a cool spray.
Here is one of the few barrels of the day. These guys were having a fun session with nobody else out.

Today’s report from Puerto Escondido brings more overhead waves and tired arms from surfing too much. This is a beach where a 7’0″ is considered your shortboard and nobody wears leashes – opting to swim to the beach after every “unmade” ride. They claim that it prevents the boards from breaking so much…hmmmmm. We’ll have..
We’ve got some small but fun waves coming through at Maderas today. It’s about chest high, with offshore winds.
