Somewhere in Nicaragua
We’ve got “Come Pan and Lucha Libre” reporting from out here at Maderas. The water is super cold and we have some waist high sets coming in. There were a couple surfers out there trying to ride some waves but just for 20 minutes, enough to take some photos for the report of the day. Check out the lineup.
Here are these guys representing the local crew. They paddled out and stayed out there just for 10 minutes because the water is so much colder tham yesterday. Anyway they made it on NSR one more time.
Here is Gerson “Boteta” Garcia trying to get one of the best right of the day. This guy has been surfing only for 2 months and he can ride pretty well.
Young Rex “La Bestia” Calderon was the man today. Here he is with a cool shot, he makes it look so easy.
Did we mention that the water is super cold? Check out these guys trying to warm up a little bit.

Hey everyone! Welcome to Wednesday’s surf report from Colorados. The waves were better by all measurable metrics today. It was still walled up and slow, but there were definitely some 10 pointers to be had.
Hey amigos! Welcome to Tuesday evening’s surf report from Colorados. The swell was bigger and stronger today, but it was very slow between the sets. I think the lack of a secondary swell combined with the sandbars not being in perfect shape made for long waits.

Hi, this is Roberto with the surf report for today. It’s chest to head high on sets out here at Maderas today and the wind is offshore. All the local crew was out, taking advantage and paddling out to have a fun session in the morning. Check out the line up.
