Somewhere in Nicaragua
We’ve got “Lucha Libre” with the saturday surf report from out here at Maderas. Today we headed out to the beach before dark to score some fun waves, and we did. Yeahh guys, we had a super fun session on the big panga and were sharing the waves with everybody in the water. It’s running about waist to chest high on sets, the wind was offshore and the water was clear and warm. Check it out.
As i said before there were some fun sets coming through today. Here is Pancho Sanchez riding a nice right. He was out practicing his longboard skills and was having so much fun out there.
The good news for the people who lives around the beach was that we have a tons of fish close to the shore and everybody was fishing. Here comes a happy family with some food for at least a week.
Some of the local groms were out ripping it up and tring to get better every single day. Here is Larry “Carita de Venado” Davila with a really cool maneuver. He’s one of the juniors who is going to Panama this month.
Couple ladies were out and charging on some nice set waves. Here comes Catrina “El Mope’s Girlfriend” riding a nice one.
There is nothing better like a good day of surfing in a quite place like this. Today you can surf easily for 2 or 3 hours because we have many waves and everybody was respecting the waves.
Carlos Caliente was able to paddle out today and was doing good on the big panga. There he is riding one of the biggest set waves i saw coming through today. I bet you had so much fun out there buddy, didn’t you?

Welcome back to the surf report for today, we have a decent swell in the water out here at Maderas. It’s head high to over head on sets and the wind is howling offshore. We have a couple of the local surfos practicing for the contest this weekend but the water is super cold.
We still have some fun sized swell out here at Maderas today. The waves are head high and the winds are offshore.
