Hi folks, we are Lucha and Come Pan with the surf report just two days from the second date of the National Surf Circuit. It’s still small but we are hoping to have a new swell in the water this weekend which is good news for the contest at Las Penitas. It’s waist to chest high on sets, the wind is offshore and the water finally is warm. Check it out.
Hey folks a big welcome to NSR Surf School’s newest students Isabella and Eric Lindblad. These two youngsters charged today catching a ton of waves and really impressing their instructor Armando “Codo” Lopez. The conditions for learning could not have been better – wind, water temp and wave size were perfect. Send us an email at rentals@nicaraaguasurfreport.com if you would like to learn or improve your skills while you are here.
Here is Eric Lindblad taking his first wave of his life and standing up all the way in to the beach. He’s only 7 years old and was doing it pretty well. This little kid was so happy when we told him that he was going to make it on NSR.
Isabella Lindblad was doing her thing too. She’s only 11 years old and was riding many waves. Here is a shot of one of her waves.
Couple of the local groms made it out today to practice some moves before to drive up to Leon tomorrow for the surf contest. Here is Rodolfo “El Tablon” Zapata with a cool spray.
This is Pedro “El Cacaste” Florez going off the top on a nice little left right before dark. This kid has been working out there and he says that he’s ready to make it straight to the finals into the junior category in this event.
Alright folks, we are leaving tomorrow from San Juan del Sur to Leon to cover the contest this weekend. So stay with us for the entire report of the contest.
RECENT REPORTS

Hey everyone! Welcome to Tuesday’s surf report from Panga Drops, once again we’re talking French Fries. The waves were smaller today, but the shape was arguably slightly better than yesterday. The wind was also a touch lighter.
Hey amigos! Josh back behind the lens for next set of days. Monday’s surf report is coming your way from Panga Drops, specifically “French Fries”. The swell was close to non-existent, but Pangas did its magic and magnified the lackluster size into something playful and shreddable.

Roberto will be back later with the today’s report – we just received some good shots from our friends at Surfari Charters. All these shots are from April 10th. This is Manuel – CHARGING!
We’ve got an overhead, but slowly dying swell still in the water. The winds were light offshore all day today. We surfed Maderas this afternoon and caught some fun ones. Shlek suggested that we put more sequences on the site today. I told him it was tough because he never seemed to make it out..
