Somewhere in Nicaragua
First things first – we got so many good photos today and they are all available to view, purchase, print, etc. We were out all day taking both water and land shots. Hi folks, we are Lucha Libre and Come Pan Panic bringing you the action of the Monday surf report from somewhere up north. Yeah friends, today we headed out to a couple of different spots around and scored some fun waves. It’s head high on sets with some occasional over head sets coming through, with offshore wind and warm water. Check it out.
Here was caught Austin about to cut back on a sweet looking left on the big panga. Actually this guy had many good shots that it was really hard for me to pick the best one for today’s surf report.
As I said before, Austin got many good shots. So we want to share this one with all of you guys. This is not an easy wave to do this kind of stuff.
Other ones were just waiting and taking off on some of the bigger set waves of the day. Here comes John from Ecuador hand dragging on this nice right hander.
The last shot of the day goes to this little kid who was flying all over the place today. The swell is supposed to drop a little bit tomorrow but it might be still pretty fun out there.
Later on in the afternoon, Jairo swam out with the water camera and got some killer shots. This is Caleb “Kalib the surfboard kisser” Cooper making his first REAL appearance on NSR. After this wave Caleb decided to stick the point of his surfboard through his lower lip and give himself 4 stitches. Don’t worry, it was nothing a couple of cold Tona’s couldn’t fix.
The facial expression on this guy was too good not to post this pic. You can see how epic today was – crystal clear water, light winds and hollow waves. This is paradise. Yo homie, if you see this and you want to download or print this photo, all you have to do is click on it!
Jairo is getting really good at the water shots. If you’ve never done it before, you can’t truly appreciate how hard difficult it is to get yourself in this position – while not killing yourself or the surfer. This is Hot Carl, on the foamball and looking for a way out.

Everybody who lives here was calling this one of the “Top 5 Sunsets” of all time. I have to say I agree. The rain pushed through without dropping any water, the clouds lit up like they were on fire and another beautiful day came to an end in Nicaragua. Check back tomorrow!Happy 60th Dad!

Hey everyone! I hope you all had a great Fourth! Saturday’s report is coming your way from Colorados as per usual. It was smaller today, but very shreddable. Still a few tubitos too.
Happy 4th of July! The size of the surf dropped notably today. There were still good sets, but patience was key (again). Hard to believe there were no takers on this one!
FROM THE ARCHIVES
After a few days of good waves everthing comes to the end, we still have some size waves coming through but the wind turn to onshore today. It’s head high on sets and we have a tons of jelly fish in the water today.
Back in Mexico – we hit the road and headed south to start making our way back to Nicaragua. We went as far as we could and then found the most insane, deserted beach to set up camp. Check it out –
I’m still in the US and Roberto keeps sending in the photos. We just got word about what happened with the monkey – evidently, this monkey either fell out of a tree or jumped out of it and landed on Roberto’s back. Then it bit him really bad in the arm. Roberto had to go..
