Hey everyone! Josh back behind the lens for the next few days. This Wednesday’s report is from Colorados, as per usual. The waves were surprisingly good today mid-morning. The shape was perfect and the size was just big enough to squeeze into the barrels.

This was the first wave I saw upon arriving. After watching it reel and stay open from start to finish, I knew I had rolled up right during the favorable window.

Julian got some of the better barrels this morning. He surfed this wave perfectly from where he took off. Maybe he could've taken off a touch deeper, but other than that you'll see that he aced it no doubt.

Jeison also got some great tube rides. This was arguably the best wave I saw during my time taking pics. It was about head-high and open on the drop.

I could tell he was prepared to go to war with the chandelier section. He coiled up and did one big drive down the line to start and give himself some momentum.

Here you can see his silhouette and the tip of his nose. It looks that big drive at the start gave him the power he needed to push through the chandelier.

He disappeared for a moment and I actually started to give up on him, only because the barrel was so tight. I figured it tapped him on the head or just got too tight on him.

He proved me wrong though because right after I took my finger off the trigger he snuck out of the tight exit. Jeison and Julian won the heat today with the young guy closely tailing.

It was a beautiful day of waves. Hopefully we get one last good crack at it tomorrow before the onshore wind sets in for what looks like a long time. It is always sad to see that in the forecast, but it's par for the course this time of the year. See y'all tomorrow.
