You want some more proof? Check out those palm trees having a bad time. They’ve been getting worked for the last few days, buy they are holding pretty well. We’ve had 20 – 30 mph sustained winds with gusts up in the 50’s!
Lucha stayed at the NSR Surf Shop getting some work done. Here he is cleaning some of our new rental boards. By the way, if you are thinking to come down and you don’t want to carry your own boards we have some sick boards available for you. DO NOT PAY EXCESSIVE AIRLINE BAGGAGE FEES FOR SURFBOARDS!!! Click on any of the photos for today if you want to check out our online inventory!
Usually when we get HOWLING WINDS the marina in San Juan del Sur do not allow you to go out on boats, because it could be very dangerous for your life. That’s why the boats are waiting on the beach until the wind die.
The big signs keep flying away all over the place. Sometimes you thing “If we do a big thing it is going to hold more time” but that is not always 100 % true. Just remember what happened with TITANIC! This used to be the biggest sign on the way into town…
Probably the best we can do for now is to get some money and go out for a couple drinks (Flor de Cana) to get warm because the weather is chilly. Hey Miguel, just lend me a couple of those!!! This wind is supposed to start dying down tomorrow and we should be back in the water. The good news is that it is supposed to die down at the same time we should be receiving a new swell. Check back and see what happens!
And how could we leave out this super cute photo of Safari. Here she is, strutting her stuff in her new bandana…and loving it! 15 months old and already loves to play dress-up.
RECENT REPORTS
Hey amigos! Welcome to Tuesday’s surf report from Panga Drops. This lady either ended up a bit later than anticipated or misunderstood what it means to get barreled haha! I’ve got to give her credit for looking at this wave though. You don’t know if you don’t go (or at least look at going).
