The crowd was very light when I first showed up to take pictures around 3:15pm. The tide was still fairly high too, but the wind was good so there were some tubes.

The resident crew put forth their best effort in the morning. Everyone was recharging when I showed back up to take pics. So there were some empty gems.

It wasn't as hollow and dredging as the morning, so working in some turns was a good idea.

Letting the arms fly wide! Asher's posture was so exaggerated here that I thought he was joking around.

I can only speak for myself, but my body feels like it got tossed down a rocky slope haha! Lots of beat-downs and paddling, but it was very much worth it. A nice early gift to get waves at Colorados in mid-March. It looks like things will mellow out some for the foreseeable future. More time for me to train for the next swell haha. Tomorrow could have some leftovers, but low expectations are good. Hasta manana.

PLAYA COLORADO
Hey everyone! Welcome to Tuesday afternoon’s surf report from Colorados. It was likely the last day of large-ish surf for a while. It took patience and good positioning, but there were some great barrels made today.
