Hello everybody and welcome to the NSR report! This is Armando and Parker tag teaming the festivities from last night. If you weren’t there, you missed out but check out our shots!!
Thee vibe at Mag Rock was pumping and super fun. It was the perfect venue to host 500+ people!
The dance floor was warming up with DJ Jacques and Jameson Hodder. All the NSR employees and best local surfers were dancing their faces off all night!
The girls were getting into it! A couple pretty chicas jumped on stage to show off stylish moves. Yeww!!
Jameson was killing the music! We are so stoked these guys made the trip down from Northern California. We each showed each other a great time!
Thanks to Bryan’s suprise, a Mariachi band showed our guests some local culture. The night kept getting better and better!
Clayton Kennedy (kennedyvisual) and Chris Bowerman (Chris_Bowerman) were holding it down on the cameras all night! Thanks to them, we have some sick photos to give you a little taste of the night. Also, a special thanks to Maurico (happy birthday!!) on stage for getting everybody hyped in between songs and helping plan the evening!
Armando, Brody, and friends were tearing up the dance floor. All girls flocked to them!!
The outside deck was vibing too! Bryan and Armando made a killer slideshow to show everybody the best photos and moments in the last 10 years.
The night was already amazing and then the fireworks started shooting off. It was the perfect way to celebrate our night.
Last night was unreal and we had a ton of fun! For those who made, thank you for celebrating with us. To Bryan, Heather, and Carl: thank you for creating NSR, constantly growing it over the past 10 years, and leading us to new heights! We are excited for NSR’s future (and our next celebration!). Come swing by the beach club for a chill hang out and some music.
In other news, it was a beautiful beach day today! The sun was shining, the offshores were a light breeze, and the waves were playful in the afternoon! It was a perfect follow up from a longer night.
Because it was Sunday Funday, Armando and I decided to take out the new handplanes we ordered. Also, check out those Reef board shorts he’s rocking! Don’t worry, we have some more pairs in the shop for you.
Handplanes are fun because they help you float and can be manuevered into the right spot. If you enjoy body surfing, come check them out at our store!
After my questionable dance moves last night, I was too ashamed to show my face.
Somebody joking said he was happy to have small waves today so he could recover from yesterday. The waves may be small, but check the forecast for later this week! Even better, stay tuned to our report!

Happy 4th of July! The size of the surf dropped notably today. There were still good sets, but patience was key (again). Hard to believe there were no takers on this one!
