PLAYA COLORADO
Hello everybody and happy humpday! This is Parker welcoming you to the daily surf report with NSR. The waves are starting to pick up and gain some more power (finally!). See for yourself!
I shot around mid tide just before breakfast. I saw plenty of playful waves with good faces.
It was a perfect session to practice your new tricks! Although, it looks like this guy already has it down. He jammed the closing out section of the wave.

He tore the wave’s lip apart! That’s a good amount of force coming from a younger guy.
He nailed it too. See how he shifted his weight to the nose of the board? That allows his body to adjust and his fins to slowly settle back into the wave.
Bryan is a fellow East Coast boy visiting Nicaragua. He brings down the prettiest boards and shows us how to ride those hogs. By the time he heads home, OBX should be getting a swell and he’ll be in tip top shape!
Mateo snagged one of the more hollow barrels this morning. You’ll see a lot more of him riding the tube in the next few days.
I saw today’s weather forecast and I understand why it said we would get some rain today! Maybe we will get some late season showers for our rivers.

Hey everyone! I hope you all had a great Fourth! Saturday’s report is coming your way from Colorados as per usual. It was smaller today, but very shreddable. Still a few tubitos too.
Happy 4th of July! The size of the surf dropped notably today. There were still good sets, but patience was key (again). Hard to believe there were no takers on this one!
