Hola y Bienvenidos to the Nicaraguan “Pipeline” Surf Report!! Today was super EPIC and “Full-Full” of some pretty amazing barrels! So kick off them shoes, pull up a chair and get comfy. Sit back and enjoy some of the goods that we were graced with for todays surf report… & Enjoy~
I can’t think of a better slide to start off with other than my buddy, Señor Chapin. He pretty much lets all of his surfing do the talking… that is unless he’s interviewing some super interesting character for his podcast; which you should definitely go check out if you get a chance on iTunes it’s called Misfits & Rejects. You will thank me later!
Today’s lighting was a little subdued, BUT the waves weren’t that’s for sure!
This is a good example of a “snowball” and rule number #324587. Just the slightest paddle of another surfer getting out of the way or even take a peek over the ledge on the upcoming shoulder can completely crumble that throwing section of that perfect wave. This thing could have been one of the best barrels of the day for this guy. Just something to think about if you’re out there in the lineup here. It’s like holding the door open for someone… it’s just the right thing to do.
Some waves were super easy drop in and pull in drainers out there and some were more for the skilled barrel hunter/rider. This guys surfed this wave to perfection. (see sequence).

Meanwhile some frothers on the opposite side of the coin today who favor the goofy foot persuasion were linking up with some frothy ones themselves.

You can’t have a proper lineup here if there isn’t a rad chica ripper out there representing the ladies. Rutciel surfed for about 3 hours today and was charging left and right… Go Rutci!!!

Although it was obviously a barrel fest out there today… I still saw some peeps working on their vert game.

The swell is up a bit, so mañana could be just as good… maybe better??

Hey everyone! I hope you all had a great Fourth! Saturday’s report is coming your way from Colorados as per usual. It was smaller today, but very shreddable. Still a few tubitos too.
Happy 4th of July! The size of the surf dropped notably today. There were still good sets, but patience was key (again). Hard to believe there were no takers on this one!
Hey amigos! Welcome to Thursday’s surf report from Playa Colorado. I saw some of the biggest sets of the year today. There were epic moments, but it was still a bit slow between the high quality waves.

Hello my people, this is the Saturday surf report. In the morning, the offshore wind was light and the waves were fun. The sets were shoulder high with some barrels rolling going left and right. Check it out.
Hola amigos, the conditions were no the best today but there were still some waves to ride. Shoulder high waves on the bigger sets, onshore winds and warm water. Check it out!!!
