It got me thinking as to how one might measure one’s level of stoke??? Well, you certainly don’t have to ask Tim, here.
I think stoke is the first paddle out and although you might have timed it wrong… getting out is always a reward in itself, especially when you see a set stacked out the back.
If you live here, you’re always stoked to have fresh fruits at your fingertips. Like these young, but soon to be juicy papaya’s.
Stoked when you get that really good turn in and you know how good it feels just from the fluidity of it coming out of thus said turn.
Always stoked when you go for a barrel on a wave that you didn’t think was even going to barrel.
Stoked on your first wave of your life, in front of your best friend, added bonus points.
Stoked to be able to go to the beach with your best friend every day.
Stoked to catch a wave with your best friend, on the same wave, during the same session, while on vacation.
Stoked to get out there and surf, when the daily land locked duties sometimes seem too overwhelming.
Stoked to be the only chica out….
and then do a BIG Man Carve like this is front of a…. a man.
Stoked to know that even though you might have missed this wave, there will be 100 more. Patience truly is a virtue.
Stoked to be in place, surfing where you know back home is more than likely flat.
Stoked to do a cool floater from time to time.
SUPER Stoked to do a Rock’n’Roll floater from time to time.
Stoked to ride a long board like a short board.
Stoked to ride a long board like a short board in waves that barrel 300 days out of the year.
Always Stoked on life, no matter how many curve balls life decides to throw us.
We all walk in different paths in this short life we have, but I guess as long as you can stay stoked about something, then it’s possible we can all live harmoniously and happily no matter the different paths of we choose! Stay stoked, stay positive… stay HAPPY!! Much LOVE ~ SBS out
