No much to report today from Santana though. Waves were pretty small and nobody out, at least by the time I got there.
After having such a great week of good size waves, everybody decided that it was too small to paddle out today.
This couple were the only people I saw at the beach today. It was definitely a beautiful day to go for a walk on the sand.
At the Rancho Santana’s pool (I should say Pool bar) there were a few people enjoying the view while having a cold drink.
What do you do when it’s a beautiful day but there are small waves and no surfers to shoot at? You help Brian Scott to shoot photos for a rental house. It was great haging out with you buddy!
And talking about NSR photographers… look what I found on the NSR Surf Archives on this same day in 2014… the original NSR photoblogger, the famous, the one and only Roberto “Lucha Libre” Garcia! I think this is the only time that he has surfed in front of the camera!
Look how it was on Dec 3rd 2016, not bad, right? pure barrels all day at Colorado.
2017 was small too, but with the right board you can have a great time!
Hopefully tomorrow will be a better day, or at least have a few surfers to shoot at. Have a great week!
RECENT REPORTS
Hey everyone! Welcome to Friday’s surf report from Playa Colorado. The waves were surprisingly bigger today. I thought it would be slightly larger than yesterday, but as the day progressed there were some sets that were head-high and had some push.
