PLAYA SANTANA
Hello everyone, Baldo again with my fourth day in a row doing the surf report this week. Santana was looking really fun, take a look!
Even though it was small, the rights were clean and opening really nice.
And who would have thought… the lefts were also nice and clean!
A couple of barrels appeared here and there on the rights.
And look at this… also some barrels going left!
Wait, what? Twin barrels on an A-frame beauty? Yes, Santana is that good.
The waves were so nice that even Rosa “La Primorosa” Mora, the only local girl surfer in the area showed up.
Everybody was having a great time today here at Santana beach.
Looks like at Iguana there were having a different kind of fun… Brian sent me this photo to include it on today’s report, here is the caption:”Many Thanks to the special Models & Natalie Namaste who helped cressen the brand new open air yoga studio at the newly developed Eco Casita Village in Hacienda Iguana today… Exciting things coming soon! Stay tuned..!!!! (*ed note – certain props in image may have been strategically placed – Or not?) haha”
Back at Santana, the news about great conditions at Santana spreaded out really fast and didn’t take too long for the rest of the locals to show up, but there were plenty of waves for everyone.
By that time it was getting time for lunch and the tide was getting low so, I put away the camera and head home. Hopefully tomorrow will still be the same (or better!) Saludos!

There was not much room to play. The few good ones that came through disappeared on the shoulders leaving enough room for one, maybe two small turns.
