PLAYA COLORADO
Hello everyone, are you ready for the beginning of a great swell coming to Nicaragua starting tomorrow? Here at Colorado we all are super excited, specially because the waves started to get pretty good this morning, check it out!
The waves were not big but the shape and its barrels were great. Here is a small demonstration of how it was.
As you can see, some of the waves had a decent size, and throwing great barrels.
Look at this guy, locked in and ready to hit the gas to make it through this barrel.
And he came out of the barrel claiming it like a champ! Well done dude!
The forecast said 2-3 feet, 2 stars… what do you guys think? Kinda off, right?
It was hard to find a corner that wasn’t throwing a roof over you but this guy didn’t miss the oportunity to smack the lip hard.
A few rides got interfered because a few surfers were eager to catch a barrel, and sometimes they messed up the section for others.
It was not just the quality of the waves, but also the colors and the clearness of the water that made it a nice day.
While everybody is having fun in the water, here at NSR we work hard to keep the houses in the best shape for our guests… not only Marvin and Nolan are great overall maintenance guys, they also have fun while working, always working with a big smile in their faces.
Can you tell Hot Carl is excited for the new swell arriving tomorrow? he was suppostly supervising Marvin and Nolan’s work, but he was more interested in watching the waves and checking the forecast for tomorrow and the next few days.
It’s really hard to concentrate in any job when you are looking at rides light this all morning!
I’m pretty sure most of you can’t concentrate at work when you are checking our surf report, sitting on your desk, dreaming about being right here, I mean, right there inside the barrel.
… and coming out of the barrel standing tall and proud of yourself, just like this guy.
Careful what you dream for… this waves can be tricky and can make your dream turn into a nightmare really quick!
But don’t get scared, book your surf vacation with us and you won’t regret it… yo ucould even appear on our famous surf report!
Let’s see what tomorrow brings, we should start seeing some size by the afternoon and for sure by Friday the swell will be here. Stay tune!

Hey everyone! Welcome to Friday’s surf report from Colorados. It was another small, but fun day of waves. Looks like the last mellow day for a good eight to nine days. Finley managed to find a couple of tubitos.
Hey everyone! Welcome to Thursday’s surf report from Playa Colorado. The surf was still fairly small today. There were moments where it pulsed and moments where it lulled out. Still clean and good for turns.
Hey amigos! Josh back behind the lens for the next few days. The small “gap” days are here! Funnily enough there were still some mini-drainers at Colorados this Wednesday morning.
