After a nice weekend full of nice waves and big parties, celebrating the wedding of Hot Carl with Hot Curls, today everyone were low on energy.
Everyone at the beach looked tired, heavy and slow… even the waves felt that way.
The waves were smaller than yesterday… soft little peaks coming through.
You had to wait long periods for the sets to roll in, but sadly, they were not in a good mood.
Only the newlywed Hot Carl had the energy and excitment to find the good waves and make the best out of them.
There were other guys getting in there, but didn’t have the experience and knowledge of the waves like Carl does.
The in-between waves were good for a couple of turns and a few splashes off the lip.
The inside waves looked good but they were kind of fast for the average surfer.
Looks like Jameson was still in “Party mode” after the big weekend… he’s party partner on the left was not so happy about it though.
As most of the people that has been living in Nicaragua for many years, there’s time to party but most importantly, you have to be ready for the next wave, no matter what you did during the weekend.
If you come to Colorado, make sure to check Pili’s new Turtle Nursery and ask them when the next turtle hatching is… it’s really cool to see baby turtles getting in the ocean for their first time.
Hopefully by tomorrow the waves will be bigger, stronger and better, and everyone will be recovered from the party and be ready to surf their brain’s out! Hasta mañana!
