PLAYA COLORADO
Hola amigos de NSR, bienvenidos a un día más de puro surf en Nicaragua, desde la maravillosa playa Colorado!
Llegando a la playa lo primero que ví fue un set grande pero bastante cerrado.
Pero luego me fijé bien y era sólo una pequeña sección la que estaba cerrada, el resto de la ola, y todas las demás, abrió bastante bien!
A ésta hora, con la marea bastante llena, las olas no tiraban tubos pero eran sólo unos pocos en el agua así que fue una buena sesión para todos.
Y qué hacer cuándo te encontrás con unas buenas paredes en las olas? darle con todo!
Es importante agarrar velocidad para poder pegarle bien al labio de la ola… y es justamente eso lo que Phi Lou está haciendo.
Simon aprovechó el momento con pocos surfistas en el agua para venir a refrescarse y tomar unas cuantas olitas antes del atardecer.
Cada set venía cargado con 3 o 4 olas de buen tamaño… miren atrás lo que viene!
Pobre Darío, lo agarró uno de esos sets mal ubicado y se le rompió el leash… miren la cara de cansado que tiene por estar peleando con la corriente para poder salir del agua. Lo siento Darío!
Las olas de Colorado siempre tienen bastante fuerza así que hay que venir siempre preparados con leashes extra, incluiso tablas extras!
Bueno, así como Darío que se le acabó la sesión repentinamente, así igual me voy yo. Espero que les haya gustado el reporte de hoy, Veremos como siguen las olas el día de mañana. Saludos!

Happy 4th of July! The size of the surf dropped notably today. There were still good sets, but patience was key (again). Hard to believe there were no takers on this one!
Hey amigos! Welcome to Thursday’s surf report from Playa Colorado. I saw some of the biggest sets of the year today. There were epic moments, but it was still a bit slow between the high quality waves.
