PLAYA COLORADO
It’s the weekend and it is beautiful and sunny outside, it’s important to get that Vitamin D. Even if you’re following a stay at home order it’s important to get some sun on the skin for a portion of the day, maybe open a window so the sun hits you and scope the report with some background water sounds to really transport your mind to this gorgeous Nicaraguan beach.
Big Scott was the first person I saw catching some waves down Panga side so I cruised a bit closer to take a better look.
Bertie wasn’t far behind, great guy here if you get a chance to meet him I’m sure you’ll agree. Looks like his kids are coming out to join in the action now.
Bianca throwing the shaka on her way to the daily paddle out. I think Robin might have snuck by the lens and already made his way out into the water.
Just as I had suspected, Robin has a nack for putting himself in spots that the waves just seem to come to him. He can often times be seen catching 2 or 3 waves for every wave of another surfer.

Down a little towards Los Perros the girls were taking a surf lesson, oh how I loved pushing people into waves last summer. When somebody catches their first few waves the stoke is for real.
Knees bent, eyes forward, and hands out for balance. Now it’s like shampoo.. rinse and repeat.
Did I mention this kid catches lots of waves 🙂 way to go bro!! Looking good out there.
Have you guys seen the Surf forecast for our area, if not let me tell you, massive swell on the way. Should be arriving on or a day before my birthday May 9th 🙂
Super excited for everyday on this beautiful planet even if it is full of madness and chaotic at times I know we are blessed to get the chance to wake up and do it again.
Dogs or Cats? I love all animals, but if I had to choose.. for fear of being on the wrong side of any Carole Baskins types I think I’ll just keep that one to myself. lol

Welcome to the Thursday surf report amigos! We have some decent swell in the water. Winds are a little side shore still, but sur-fable waves are still surf-able waves any time… and this is why we love Nicaragua so much!
