PLAYA COLORADO
Good morning on this cloud covered Thursday morning, hoping the sun breaks through the clouds at some point here today but regardless the surfers are out and there are waves to be had. It was approaching the high tide when I went down to shoot and there were some fun corners and some runners too. Check it out.
Some skilled surfers out there including adults and groms that were going for it.
There were some rays of sunshine that were sneaking through the late arriving June Gloom since now it’s actually July.
Lots of rights and lots of lefts this morning it was wave after wave with not much time to just sit and think as the waves were very consistently coming through the high tide flow of the morning.
Emily out there ripping up some faces and making it look oh so good.
One fella that has called this place home for many nights and scores almost every morning and day Mr. John G out there starting the day off right.
It was high tide but there were still some little barrels that were sneaking through the lineup and if you were ready you were gonna get paid out in Green room time.
Not just hunting barrels though, check out the rooster tail on this one.
Meanwhile on the beach Alvaro and the boys were hitting some tennis balls and having fun.
Wave after wave after wave again what a morning. Sometimes it takes an hour to get the shots and sometimes like this morning I can get all the shots I need in 20 minutes. Super steady flow of waves this morning. Everybody getting paid out it’s the 1st of the month.

Okay ya’ll thank you for cruising by and checking out the report today. Super appreciative to the ocean and mother nature for consistently stoking me out. Hey amigos! Welcome to Tuesday evening’s surf report from Colorados. The swell was bigger and stronger today, but it was very slow between the sets. I think the lack of a secondary swell combined with the sandbars not being in perfect shape made for long waits.
