PLAYA COLORADO
Hey ya’ll it sure is nice to see a lineup again after a few days of unruly wind and too much swell for the beachy to handle we are back!! Some fun waves coming through and everybody frothing to get some.
The volunteer lifeguard force is out and watching over the ocean to ensure everybody that goes out comes back in safely. Love these dudes!
Huge shoutout to the guys that keep an eye out so everybody is safe and a gigantic thank you to Megan for coordinating it all and to the sponsors and donations that keep it going!
It isn’t the barrel fest that it normally is but there were a few quick coverups out there. This guy was able to find a quick bit of shade out there.
There were def more opportunities to smack the lip or go flying above it today though.
Soon to be making moves out in the lineup I caught a grom lesson going down and when you learn how to surf here there is no shortage of chances to practice and build up that ability.. I’m sure this kid will be ripping in no time.
Speaking of very talented local shredders here’s one now! Yeeee yeah dude!
Some more cover up opportunities.. and I’m not talking about concealer and foundation for the ladies no I’m talking head dips and tubos.
Back in San Diego my hometown people are getting ready to go to Splash House for the party but this guy is splish splashing down here for the party.

What a beautiful day it is after the crazy rain and storm we had last night it is nice to wake up to a sunny warm day with waves. It seems to always be nice during the day, even during rainy season most days are nice and sunny.. it is the night when most of the rain falls.
