The wind was howling ALL DAY LONG and my consistency with the tides didn’t quite lineup quite as good as this unknown hombres shack from behind the scenes!
The crowd factor was minimal, but the waves didn’t give two “mierdas” if there were 5 people out or there were 25 people out, as the waves just kept coming and coming.
There’s back-dooring a wave and then there’s this…. PD’s wants you to race it like it’s one of those “tonto” drivers on the 405 HWY who likes to speed up and slow down just to drive you crazy, when all you want to do is lane change so you can just move right along and keep going! Jajaja
Sophie making a lane change last minute. It’s a common occurrence here at this break!
Actually there were about the equal amount of ladies to guys ratio out there tonight. But like I said…. there were way more waves than people to keep up with the incoming consistent swell.
Even this little lady was trying her hand at beginners bay. Way to go little chiquita pequeña niña!
Ok, so to stop for a second and really give you what you really all come here for… here’s how the outside sets looked. And there were-a-plenty!
Big OPEN canvas walls, like this for the taking. This was only turn number one after his take off.
Same kid, only making a different style of art out of this right. Sick one amigo! Alex Castro visiting from neighboring country just south of here, Costa Rica. Killing it!
You thought that was sick, check out his Tio, “Caramelow” destroying this poor Nica wave!!!!!
As we all watched the sun set and the little bit of surfers that were out slowly exit the water after a long day of surf…. those who were lucky to be down at the play at this time, got to see this!
