We had some wind and some cross chop, but you could still find a pocket to rip a nice turn or two.
Here you can see some of the chop pushing across the faces. it was a bumpy ride on few of the waves.
The chop didn’t seem to effect this guy too much. Nice turn buddy!!
Here he is again with a nice backside hack to the lip.
When we looked to the left we could see some lined up lefts coming our way from Colorado.
Bauti out back enjoying the late afternoon session. The swell is supposed to increase overnight. LEt’s keep the fingers crossed for the morning.
RECENT REPORTS
Hey amigos! Welcome to Thursday’s surf report from Colorados. I saw the waves turn on and off about 7 separate times today. The conditions were in constant flux. It just so happened to be that the best window of the day was when I took pictures around 1:00pm.
FROM THE ARCHIVES
Welcome amigos to the Sunday Fun Day and weekend wrap up our first week in August here. Waves were in the waist high range and not a whole lot of people out around midday. Pop on in to check it out!
It’s the weekend and the beach is busy! We got some lingering cloud cover that is keeping it nice and cool out. The waves are waist high as we are waiting a few more days for the next swell to arrive.
Happy Friday all you amazing people! I hope your week has been a good one. Today, for us is really good, because it quite possibly could be the end of our small wave spell. That’s right… the forecast and buoys are looking good staring this weekend and should be that way for some time. Until..
