Happy New Year folks! We are starting out 2006 the way we like it down here – with firing swell! Today we’ve got super fun North Swell running about head high and offshore winds. We’ve got a few people in the water at Maderas today, check it out:
Roberto was using his monkey-like climbing skills and a telephoto lens to capture these interesting perspectives of Maderas today. This is the left coming of “machete rocks”.
Here is one of our favorite cats in San Juan Del Sur – we don’t know his real name, but everyone calls him “Friky” (pronounced “Freaky”). Check out Friky, getting Freaky on a fun left.
And here is Big Tom Eberly, in town for the holidays and picking off a nice one. How about that warm water in January Tom?

Hey everyone! Welcome to Tuesday’s late-morning surf report from French Fries. The wind was very strong as forecasted, not quite as ridiculous as forecasted though. French Fries was relatively protected from the wind-chop though. Plus I was graced with a star-studded lineup.
