“Gangbusters”, I believe is the term Bruce Brown used in his original “Endless Summer” cult classic. The waves were pretty darn good, but the surfing went right along with it, like that legendary theme song to that timeless surf classic! Btw, fun fact I met him once… pretty funny night and story to go along with it. But we’ll save that for another time.
When you think about it… Nicaragua pretty much is the epitome of that endless summer.
Even though all regions around the globe, there is no endless summer (we just so happen to be right in the middle of ours) but the thought of chasing waves to keep the summer from ever ending, you would have to look no further for a shortage of waves here.
You’d be hard pressed to find another surf destination that serves up as much consistent surf as Nica-Land does out of the 365 days of the year.
Can you imagine right now if your local surf spot had this same drive up access, no parking meters, no other cars within a 10 min radius… you can certainly say that you’ve chosen a good place to live and surf.
However, the bennies (benefits) run deep here!
Strong offshores sometimes is one of our only disadvantages…. can you imagine that???
But heck, we deal with it. Jajajajaja
Like this hombre. Turning back around in the direction of the wind is one good thing or easier rather things to do when going right with these strong offshores.
Perfectly timed and beautifully executed move, that’s framed and compositionally nice to look at surf image. Hey if you’re out there to strive for the best, I’ll always try and do my part equally as well. It’s a team thing!
