Somewhere in Nicaragua
Hey guys, this is Jairo “Come Pan” Ramos bringing you the Sunday surf report. This morning we headed out to one of the best beach breaks in Nicaragua – Playa Colorado. Even though it’s the off-season right now, we were stoked to find some small but fun waves to ride. The little swell we’ve had the last several days is still lingering and there were some fun waves coming through. It was running about chest high on sets, the wind was offshore and the water was a little chilly. Check out what we got!!!
There were some locals kids trying to have a good Sunday at the beach. They were able to paddle out today and catch a few fun waves. Here we caught Carlitos with a nice finish on this wave.
Later on we went up the beach to Panga Drops to catch some fun waves and we scored. This spot is one of the most consistent in all of Nicaragua and seems to magnify even the smallest swell. We found some long borders having fun and catching a couple of good ones. Here is a shot of this unknown surfer on this fun looking right. (check out the nice sized set wave peeling out the back!)
Today we met a couple guys from “La Jolla” CA, They are visiting our beautiful country and doing some surfing down here. Here we have a shot of one of them, his name is Miles with a nice maneuver on this wave. Welcome to Nicaragua Miles!
Carlos “Caliente” couldn’t resist and decided to paddle out and catch a few waves himself. Here I caught him with a nice shot through the thorn bushes. Carlos can ride switch-stance and his favorite animals are turtles.
This is Come Pan and I hope you enjoyed my report for today. We should have a few lingering, small waves for the next several days and then it looks like a new swell is on the horizon for around the 18th or so of this month.CP Out!

Hey amigos! Welcome to Thursday’s surf report from Colorados! The forecast had one foot on each side of the line today, in other words, they said maybe small, maybe big. The swell ended up showing up slightly early for once. Not huge, but definitely fun, playful conditions.

Hi folks, we are Roberto and Jairo with very bad news for you. We wouldn’t like to say this but everyone have to know about it. One of our best friend father’s is dead, we are talking about Danilo “Kambute’s” Herrera father. It’s so hard for us to tell you this but this happened last..
This is Roberto with the report for today. We have not change about waves size, It’s pretty small and almost nobody was out but It’s still fun for longboard. It’s waist high on sets and the wind is howling offshore. Check it out.
We’ve got a slight bump in the swell today at Maderas. I’ll call it waist high with offshore winds. It’s not big, but compared to the last couple of days it’s enough to make you want to jump in the water.
