So I checked the beach this morning, and it looked like the only place with swell was panga drops. I put the camera gear in the bag and took off on the moto
This is what it looked like early in the morning. The waves looked a bit soft, but there were some corners on the right waves
Just cause there’s swell doesn’t mean the wave is good. Case in point right here. You can tell the difference between this wave and the last picture right away
it can be tough to read out there, especially when there is less swell. the pelicans are the true wave riders out there, riding the air currents that the waves generate as they break
It’s been a bit cloudy over the last few days.
Not that I’m complaining though. It seems like it’s been getting hotter as the days go by. The clouds are a nice respite
Not enough hold with two fins? Put it on rail
Here’s a good example of one of the better waves today. This wave came in at an angle and then wrapped around producing this right. Lately, these swingers have been the good ones
If we don’t see your fins when you turn you’re not doing it properly
Even when there’s no waves at Playa Colorado it’s still somehow picture perfect …
So after that morning sesh, I went about my daily business, and as often happens in Nicaragua, found myself at the beach again near sunset
The wave definitely had better shape this time of day
Such nice colors this evening. Panga Drops has been this color the last few days
Who says there’s no swell in January? I’ll take it!
That’s it for today guys! Thanks again! Hope you all had a great weekend! If you guys are interested in photos, feel free to shoot us an email at[email protected]See you guys next time!
