Somewhere in Nicaragua
Welcome to the super windy Saturday surf report my friends. Pretty mellow day for a Saturday. Went down around noonish and only saw two people out. I think the winds were a bit too unruly, which might be why there were only two surfers out braving the howling offshore conditions.
Here’s Grant, one of the two surfers out there today.
The positive side was that you could have any waves you wanted and there were some pretty fun waves coming through; like this one you see here.
Nice little floater to end off this section of the closeout. Yeah buddy!
It was actually a nice and cool breezy day for a tranquil walk along the stretch of beach.
Here’s the other surfer out. I’m not sure who she is, but she was out there, catching some fun ones!
Check out the whitecaps out the back. Pretty gusty winds all day today.

Happy 4th of July! The size of the surf dropped notably today. There were still good sets, but patience was key (again). Hard to believe there were no takers on this one!
Hey amigos! Welcome to Thursday’s surf report from Playa Colorado. I saw some of the biggest sets of the year today. There were epic moments, but it was still a bit slow between the high quality waves.
Hey everyone! Josh back behind the lens for a few days. The swell today is the largest it has been in about two weeks. It was still slow between the sets, but there were a few one hour windows and pulses.
