Happy Monday everyone! Here’s a look at todays waves with some solid offshore winds that were howling! Enjoy ~
Caught my vecino Brett (aka neighbor) sneaking off for a little midday afternoon surf check and I thought I would follow his lead; being that the other 2 times I checked earlier I didn’t catch anyone out surfing. Glad I caught him just in time as he came flying out from behind this tree!
This image makes me so happy!!! Look at that little guy out there all alone in the big old free and open ocean, learning how to walk before he can run! (ok – for those of you who might be concerned, John Springfield is way off to the far right and out of frame) so NO this kid wasn’t out there all by himself. Haha but kudos on your surfing little guy! Keep it up.
Here’s to another happy image or one that has a similar tone. I’m not sure how long or if Señor Wheelock
has been surfing very long, but seeing him out there amongst all the others that came here pretty much because of surfing… I applaud you Sir!

The waiting game. Who’s got priority? Who’s gonna be in the best position when that next set wave comes? Ahhhhhh all those great sensational feelings that come with surfing, when you’re not actually surfing.
Looks like one of the groms got it. Its already hard enough to tell em apart, they’re not even biological twins, as a matter a fact Koji is the older one of Yuji, but that’s one of them there for sure!
Perfect form on his bottom turn…. now let’s see how he fares with his top part completion…

Sure feels like a ghost town here now…. but oh ya, it’s only Jan still. A lot could change come March or April.

Well, that’s about all the steam I have today. It was a windy and busy day. Busy doing a lot of non-surf related stuffs…. but felt good get caught up on some chores (as they call it). Have a good rest of your Monday evening boys and girls. See you again tomorrow ~

Welcome to the Saturday surf report friends. Today we had some 3-4 ft range swell in the water with nice offshores (not too strong which is nice) and the water temps are still trunkable and nice.
Thank goodness it’s any day, really! Fridays always seems to make it even better, BUT today we had some fun waves, some spectacular weather. Welcome to the TGIF surf report my friends!
