Somewhere in Nicaragua

I am sprinkling in a few shots from yesterday because  1. I was SUPER busy yesterday and my amigo (being the great guy that he is) offered to help me out and do up the report from yesterday. And 2. Today again I was super busy and only had a short window to shoot, so thus I am giving some of the best from yesterday’s mornings session and todays. So I hope you enjoy!

Bart was only one of the handful of guys to get out there early.

But that was a good thing, since this is what the lineup looked like. Not a bad way to start the day eh???

These guys out surfing must have had some of the strong nicaraguan coffee…

Because they were on fire way too early at this time.

Nicaragua definitely has some glorious moments.

Adam is really a short boarder by heart, he just longboards from time to time because its almost Valentines day and he wants to feel the love in every way.

Here’s a couple dudes checking Pangas from a panga. Not a bad seat to watch the sets roll through.

Sooooooo….. today, like I said, I had a very small window to check the waves and make some kind of report for you all & this is what I saw. Yup Colorados still wasn’t quite there yet. But, YES, oh YES, she will be back again very soon!!!

So I made the ol’ trek back down to my favorite place to shoot as of lately. You guessed it… The Drops!

So many layers this wave has. (If you surf here regularly, you get my little inside joke).

So the patch as most people know is to help curb your nicotine addictions if you’re a smoker. Doctors have also revealed that surfer suffer from a similar addiction with surfing. I guess it’s safe to say, this lone chica is trying to mend her dirty habits.

But it doesn’t look like the patch is working very well???

What’s your preferred method of surf check each day? We have these two here which are pretty common, as well as bicycling and walking as well. I’m just happy to say that if you live here, you drive to the beach on a completely dirt road anywhere you check the surf. This is not a bad thing.

Hey speaking of my amigo Kevin… I bet you guys didn’t know he moonlights as a sexy underwear model… ok you got me, no man wears underwear here, are you crazy! But he really is a model.
