First peak was breaking good, not perfect as we like it, but good enough to have the mayority of the surfers there.
@heyner_ruiz_was one of the few surfers that were not at First peak… he prefers right.
Heyner has been improving his surfing faster than anyone here at Santana.
He actually won first place in Juniors category this past weekend on a local event against all the Tola surfers, from Astillero to Gigante.
Darwin Jacamo is one of the “old school” surfers from Santana, the first generation of shredders in the area… he’s still killing it!
@saddys_zapatais another of the Santana’s new generation of rippers along with Hayner. He has a cool style!
Put your hands in the air like you just don’t care, right Saddys?
Another member of the Santana crew is@nesmer_silva. He is quiet out of the water but he is always on the move with the waves.
There were a couple of foreigners killing it too. This guy stood out from the rest.
The waves were not that big but everyone knew how to handle them.
Backwards or almost upside down, everyone was having a great time.
The waves will stay this size for a few days, I think it’s time to start bringing the longboard to Santana. See you tomorrow!
RECENT REPORTS
Hey amigos! Welcome to Friday evening’s surf report from Colorados. The size and consistency actually declined today, contrary to what was forecasted. There were still a few corners to be had though. The wind was also light this evening.
