Somewhere in Nicaragua
Hi folks, this is another episode on NSR with the surf report from out here at Maderas. We still have some good waves coming through and a bunch of people made it out today too. It’s running about chest to shoulder high on sets, the wind is offshore and the water keeps cold. Check out the lineup.
As we said before we had a tons of people out there today, here is this shot to prove it. Hey guys, don’t forget the big rule to surf down here in Nicaragua, you have to respect each other and you will have so much fun out there for sure!!!
Here we have Marlon “El Shaggy” Aburto trying to get barrel into a nice right. By the way, that was the only clean wave he could take today because everybody was snaking each other, which in spanish means “ROBANDO OLAS A OTROS”.
“El Mope” Miranda was out there having a good time and shredding all over the place. Here he is with a cool spray, this guy was so excited and wasn’t respecting anybody else because anybody respected to him either.
Alright folks, let’s make a break. It’s time to talk about something more interesting. You already know that there were a lots of people in the water but you also have to know that we have many cutes girls on the beach posing for the camera. Here they are walking on the sandy gateway.
Here is Ricardo “El Matador” Mayorga going right. This guy is going to open an Italian Restaurant soon and they want to make a deal: they are going to give us some free lasagne because they want to be very often on NSR. Probably we are going to get fat!!!
Gerardito “La Polita” Herrera was able to paddle out and was catching some good ones. Here he is riding a good left with a nice bottom turn.

Happy 4th of July! The size of the surf dropped notably today. There were still good sets, but patience was key (again). Hard to believe there were no takers on this one!
Hey amigos! Welcome to Thursday’s surf report from Playa Colorado. I saw some of the biggest sets of the year today. There were epic moments, but it was still a bit slow between the high quality waves.
Hey everyone! Josh back behind the lens for a few days. The swell today is the largest it has been in about two weeks. It was still slow between the sets, but there were a few one hour windows and pulses.

We didn’t go to Maderas today but we guessed It’s waist high on sets and the wind is strong offshore. The water is cold and nobody was out in the bay.
We’ve got little waves today in San Juan Del Sur. It’s about chest high or so and the wind is about 50mph offshore. Check the spray coming off the back of this one.
