PLAYA SANTANA

First peak was going off… the perfect wedge barreling to the left and its fat rights.

Just a few surfers were able to get barreled almost on every wave.

I went to Rosada first and the tide was already getting too high to surf… a few more feet on this wave and this guy was going to need 4WD.

Check out this couple taking photos at the reef… this is a massive splash!

I’m pretty sure it was an awesome photo but… we don’t encorage doing this, walking on the reef when the tide is coming up it’s something everyone should take it serious.

You could get hurt really easy if you underestimate the power of the ocean.

It’s better to be in the water anyway, instead of on the rocks, specially if it is this good.

It’s not just that the waves were good, the water was awesome too!

You gain so much speed at First Peak that it’s hard to stay in control when doing a turn.

Another good wave, another great barrel… and this is just February!
