Somewhere in Nicaragua
If you ever thought that we don’t have sick rights down here in Nicaragua, you have to check this report and them think about it again. We still have some swell in the water and we have some overhead sets coming through, the wind is offshore and the water is chilly. Check it out.
A day after the first contest this year at Maderas, we headed out to the beach with 2 of the champions in 2 different categories. The brothers Chamorro paddled back out today and were enjoying by themself this wave with a couple of good friends. Here we have “La Baloy” with a cool bottom turn on a nice set wave.
The brothers Chamorro were showing off today with some aerial moves. Here is the International Champion “La Gaviota” with a really sick one.
After 2 days of hard work on the beach, Jairo “Come Pan Panic” paddled out to have his own show. Here he goes getting deep into the small green room. Maybe Lucha can paddle out tomorrow, we are just kidding!!!
Here we have Rodolfo “El Tablon” Calibilly Zapata on a pretty nice wave. Who said we don’t have good rights in Nicaragua?
This is Gerardo “La Polita” Herrrera with a nice backside move. He’s a good surfer but this time he wasn’t lucky to get better waves in the contest. Keep working my friend!!!
Here we have Armando “El Codo del Power Ranger” Lopez trying to get deep into a small but sweet right. He was having so much fun out there with his friends because there wasn’t many people in the water.

Happy 4th of July! The size of the surf dropped notably today. There were still good sets, but patience was key (again). Hard to believe there were no takers on this one!
Hey amigos! Welcome to Thursday’s surf report from Playa Colorado. I saw some of the biggest sets of the year today. There were epic moments, but it was still a bit slow between the high quality waves.
Hey everyone! Josh back behind the lens for a few days. The swell today is the largest it has been in about two weeks. It was still slow between the sets, but there were a few one hour windows and pulses.

Welcome to the saturday surf report from Maderas. So, today nobody was worried about the waves and nobody even made it to the surf because we had a tons of fish in the water and all the locals fisherman didn’t aloud nobody to jump out, a couple of surfos made it out but they didn’t..
Another beautiful but flat day here in Nicaragua. I’m sure there are little waves somewhere, but not here. It’s a beautiful beach day and the water is clear, so we opted to dive again.
