First I checked Santana, the waves were great but it was windy at this time of the day.

Here is Yamil taking advantage of the strong winds to throw some extra water with this turn.

After several weeks of strong winds, the water is finally getting cold, making the line up uncrowded but also shortening the sessions.

There were some nice sets at Santana, but the tide was getting high really fast.

After seen the increased popularity of beach Volleyball at Iguana, the community decided that Tuesdays will be the days for beginners and kids to play all they want on the beach court, without the competitiviness of the regular grown ups… and my oldest kid would have hated me if I didn’t bring him to play.

And while Mateo and the rest of the kids were polishing their beach Volleyball skills, I took a few more photos for all of you to see Colorado.

Hot Carl was enjoying the conditions and the cold water, probably remembering California when he was a kid.

Carlitos had the whole beach just for himself (all the kids were playing Volleyball), he was studying and following what the surfers did in the water. Look at Carlitos, landing a late drop.

Carlitos was probably saying to his mom this: “Mami, after that late drop, I put my foot on the gas and picked my line”

“… And then I got a big barrel, IT WAS HUGE AND IT WAS AWESOME!”

“Mami, I bet you didn’t see me on that barrel… because I was SO DEEP! HAHAHA”

“Here I am Mami, I made it out of the barrel, and now I’m ready for another one!”

Cold water? Tony Z is always ready for good waves!

Now will be seen Thierry more often in the water, at least on Tuesday afternoons when he’s not allow to play Volleyball anymore.

And while the boys surf… the girls drink! Cheers! Happy Tuesday everyone!
