Somewhere in Nicaragua
What’s up everybody?! Welcome to the surf report with NSR and Parker. Unfortunately, the waves were small today but plenty of other fun activities were going on. Check out the shots!
I was heading to the beach when I ran into a few friends. We exchange formalities including roars, chest beating, and stammering around in circles. I couldn’t tell for sure but I think they told me I was allowed to pass.
It’s Semana Santa (Easter week) so plenty of folks are taking vacation with their families. Some rent our epic beach front houses while others are happy hanging out in the trees.
Believe me bro, I feel you… Take a walk at sunset or sunrise and you’ll see them running around. Or, get lucky and run into them during an afternoon nap.
As soon as I walked up to the beach, I saw the wave of the day! It caught everybody offguard.
An unknown surfer found a rolling right. Too bad the crowds weren’t watching this sequence…
Squeeeeeeze!!! The waves were about waist high so you have to tuck in tight or generate your own speed.
Conditions weren’t perfect and some of the waves clamped. It’s ok because we have a nice swell coming next week!! Keep your fingers crossed.
Everybody is relaxing and catching rays at the beach. Whether you’re looking for corners or playing in the sand, everybody was having a good time.
I shot photos before lunch time so the sun was bright. Mike Doan needed a rash guard and barrels to protect himself.
Some nuggets came through. Becuase I’m considered a gigante, I will take my longboard to enjoy the playfulness. Check out the waves around sunset- there may be a fun wave when the tide turns around.
Senor Patricio saw a couple guys get covered up. Him and his primo Alejandro found a couple barrels themselves.
Everybody is making their way to the Tiki Bar to enjoy a few cold beverages. We want to give a big ole welcome to Raven, Aubrey, Alyssa, Autum, and Lindsey for spending their spring break here! Welcome down ladies!
Patrick could not wait for $5 chicken nachos at the Tiki Bar so he took a bite out of DJ’s meaty bicep. Alright everybody, grab a log or head down to the beach club to enjoy the afternoon! Hasta luego amigos!!

Hello Monday, The swell continues into today with some cleaner conditions. There were some long waits, but for the few patient people in the water there was some glory to be had. @tonyzphotos reporting.

Hi there, this is Lucha Libre Garcia with the Sunday surf report. There is still some swell out there but unfortunately the winds turned onshore but the good new is THE WATER IS WARM. Check it out!!!
