Nicaragua Surf Report for Wednesday, March 28, 2018

Brian Scott

Hola estudiantes de la vida! Today we had some pretty fun surf out front and with that came a couple of teachers of the craft and some students learning thus said craft. Put away your iPhones (unless you’re browsing this surf report on there) sit back and take a few notes from todays class session.

Brian Scott

The wind was HOWLING OFFSHORE today… would be an understatement.

Brian Scott

Surf Class in full effect.

One of the best Maestras in the business here in Nicaragua.

Señor Kevin Cortez.

Brian Scott

Like all things new, you have to walk before you can run.

Brian Scott

But before you know it… off come the training wheels, and you’re cruising doing big things like this.

Brian Scott

And this!

Brian Scott

KC usually runs on Nica-Time, but here he’s pretty punctual with the actual time stamp on his crack off the top and what time of day it is here.

Brian Scott

A few students running a little late for school today, but as you can see, they’re still focused on the class they’re about to attend.

Brian Scott

Here is a substitute teacher for the day. Only because I didn’t see Jackson out there, this ripper must be filling in.

Brian Scott

Showing the groms that a young teacher like this can still be pretty cool behind the desk.

Brian Scott

I think someone should at least bring him an apple for this lesson on this fine day of class.

Brian Scott

Every good student always has a good base foundation in his education. This kid obviously studies pretty hard.

Brian Scott

What most people won’t recognize in this photo is how hard the wind is blowing, yet how fast this kid is flying down the line going against, easily 30-40 mph winds.

Brian Scott

Señor Cortez showing his class exactly how it’s done here in Nicaragua.

Brian Scott

Some surf WELL above the average class.

Brian Scott

Some play hookie from class. Better not to skip class young whippersnapper.

Brian Scott

Ok, class is adjourned. Check out them winds! Don’t be tardy mañana, we’re supposed to be getting a pretty good swell in the next day or two, so you don’t want to miss it. Hope to see you then! Adiós ~
