Side shore and a little before the afternoon crowds made their way out to the playa.
By time I made my way down to the end of the beach there were easily about 25 surfers out. This one kid was ripping the entire session.
This unknown guy as well.
I know it doesn’t look like it here (this wave actually looks pretty glassy), but the side shore winds were really howling. Lets hope we get back to straight offshore real soon.
Getting blown out the back of a wave, maybe for good reason. Looks like this poor surfboard is about to get an inside bowl beatdown.
Easily half of the people out surfing was this pack of groms.
They were dominating the three peaks that were consistently getting wave after wave.
And some pretty radical maneuvers out there as well.
Hunting for barrels instead of easter eggs.
This guy snagged easily the longest wave I think I saw ridden today. He took off way outside and rode it all the way in to the beach.
Always fun in the sun here in Nicaragua.
Alight chicos y chicas… tomorrow is the big Easter celebration AND April 1st. I need to start thinking of some good April Fools pranks pronto for mañana! Dale pues ~
RECENT REPORTS
Merry Christmas everyone! Josh back behind the lens for the next few days. This evening’s surf report is coming your way from Panga Drops. Today definitely had its moments, but the windows were difficult to hit.
FROM THE ARCHIVES
Good afternoon! Happy Friday and welcome to todays surf report. I got down to the beach this morning to find these amazing conditions with crystal clear water and only a few people out. It was super clean with very little wind on it with medium fun sized peaks coming through as the tide was going..
