I met this kid on the beach, he was having a Coca Cola and a small bag of chips as lunch right before getting in the water. I asked him: “A matarla o a matarte?” (To kill it or to get killed?) he just started laughing all shy and said “a materme!” (“to get killed!”). He said his name was Jon Jon Flores (John John Florence) right before he took off to the water! I stayed there laughing for a while.
