Colorado is finally back! or at least back with this swell.

It was head high with some overhead bombs, and opening really nice.

Of course, as usual, there were some sick closeouts that kept everyone on their toes.

Tony Z was stocked to see the waves breaking again at Colorado.

Right away he was catching all the good ones, and the Holy Week crowd were enjoying the show he put on.

Tony Z knows this wave very well, you can tell by the late vertical drops that he manage to control on the big ones.

Other surfers had to be more careful with the wave selection and had to conformed with the small ones.

A picture of opposites… a girl doing a hand stand in full balance control, and on the back a surfer with no control at all.

The lefts were breaking better than the rights… more consistent and longer rides.

Check out my little brother Joaquin, visiting from Managua. Way to go hermanito!

Here is Tony Z again cruising at full speed through this section.

At look a Phi Lou on the bomb of the day… or should I say, the Drop of the Day!

It was an air drop on a massive wave and he landed it perfect and ready for a nice bottom turn.

We’ll be monitoring the behavior of Colorado in the next few days, hopefully this is a signal that the Nicaragua surf season is about th start! Have a great weekend everyone!
RECENT REPORTS

Hey everyone! Josh back behind the lens for the next few days. Welcome to Wednesday’s surf report from Colorados. The swell head steady from yesterday, but unfortunately the wind got on it by 10:30am. There was an afternoon rain shower and I came back around sunset after the rain to find that it had cleaned..
