The winds turned today which made the waves a bit less ideal than the last couple of days, but that didn’t keep Timmy from getting out there at all for another arm burner of a session.

Yesterday was a complete barrel fest. Today everyone was still frothing on finding some of those nuggets.

Today was all about the turns though, like the one my amigo Hayden here is executing quite nicely.

When we’re blessed with our normal offshore winds, this place holds up well and the barrels stand up tall. But when those side shore and onshore winds come, it’s time to get creative outside the barrel.

Yanai has been killing it here this past swell. Frustrated with todays session, would be an understatement. This tends to happen when you get a taste of the “real goods” here.

Left turns…

Right turns…

Layback turns. Today was all about them turns!

At the very least, I will share with you this double wave sequence of my buddy Josh Springfield, slaying this insane Right (wave of the day) and Left back to back from yesterday’s barrel fest. Enjoy!! Dale pues ~
