This is the same guy on the same wave as the cover photo. Looks like he’s having some fun, despite the unfavorable onshore conditions.

It’s hard to tell how this season is going to pan out, as it’s already the end of April and we’re going into May, where we should hopefully start to see some of that southern hemisphere storm activity that gives us our really good swells this time of year from waaaaay down in the south Pacific.

This hombre is staying right at a house situated just about where he’s making this turn. Good thing he chose to stay north side of the stretch of beach, this way he could just paddle right out and surf the reef. I did check Colorados and there wasn’t a single person out.

Gotta love the paddle back out and you see the outside cracking, like this!

I’d say there were maybe around 10-15 people out. Here’s one of them getting a pretty nice left.

There were still some pretty decent corners out there to play and surf in.

You just needed to find the right spot to be as there wasn’t really a main peak today. It was kind of all over the place. Hows this guys (whats looks like a pretty glassy nugget) wave? Definitely eyeballing that top section up ahead.

BAAAAMMMMM!!! That’s how you put an exclamation po!nt and stomp that big fat closeout end section!

Here’s another guy doing the same thing except on this crumbly right! Yeah amigo!!!!

Well, despite the gloomy (non-sunny) weather, it was still nice to get out and enjoy the beach. There were a lot of people down there in the afternoon. Maybe tomorrow will be a better day. . . but we shall see ~Remember, even if you didn’t make the highlights you can always look at the link here for all theDaily Surf Shotsfrom each day, there might be a good chance you’re in there!AND don’t forget to follow us and always check out our current happenings on our daily Instagram stories hereNSRor my photography hereNica Surf Shots
