The waves were smaller than yesterday and with no barrels, but still super fun.
Most of the waves were breaking no so clean, it was a matter of finding the right spot to catch them.
It was a great day for wide turns.
And also a great opportunity to work on your style, no rush, no barrel pressing on your heels.
The big swell from this weekend, in combination with the big tides we had at the same time, moved all the sand from the beach into the water, just exactly what we want!
Those newly created sandbars it’s the key for a great surfing season at Colorado, be ready because it will be good!
Some of the surfers always go for a powerful maneuver no matter the conditions.
Some others surfers are better to sync with the contours of the waves, mixing power and flow at the right amounts, none overshadow the other.
The closest of a barrel I saw today. Almost there!
It’s fun to surf when it’s not perfect, you have to keep moving to find the right lines and figure out where is a good place to turn, and how to turn!
Looks like tomorrow it’s going to be similar as today, but not to worry, there is a new swell around the corner! come back to check it out!
