Somewhere in Nicaragua
What’s going on fellas? This is Lucha Libre from down here in San Juan del Sur, throwing a couple shots of the new swell in. The waves were well over head on sets with nice offshore winds, it was kind of closing out but there were still some nice sets rolling in between. Check out the lineup!!!
It is not a surprise that this spot is always empty when the waves are pumping. Today there were only about 7 guys out trying to score some good ones. This is Marcos handling this sweet left hander at Machete Pt.
Pancho Sanchez loves when this wave is breaking but unfortunately it wasn’t really doing its thing today. Anyway Pancho made it out and picked up some of the bigger sets that came in. Here he is bottom turning this one, this wave is easily double over head. Hey Balboa, I guess you wish to be here my friend, don’t you?
On the last shot from down south we have this unknown rider trying to get some speed and make it through this fast section. Chewy should be posing a couple shots from up north later tonight so stay tuned with us.
Hey guys Chewy here with Reporte del Norte. the surf up here is looking big. I just got out of the water and it was well overhead… like well. There was a little Grand Funk Railroad to it, but all in all there were some bombs coming in. Check it.
It’s hard to see but there is a guy in this thing. There was too much water while the high tide was around so this was the result… backwash barrel.
Here’s one of the locals dropping in on a big set. Straight charging.

Hey everyone! Welcome to Friday’s surf report from Playa Colorado! The waves were similar size to yesterday. Shoulder high on the sets, but smaller in between.
Hey amigos! Welcome to Thursday’s surf report from Playa Colorado. The size dropped even more today, but there were still a few finale sets that rolled through in the morning. I guess everyone was burned out from the last swell as the crowd was light all day long.
Hey everyone! Josh back behind the lens for the next few days. The swell definitely dropped slightly overnight, but as you can see there were still some gems!

For the first shot of the day we have this guy taking off on one of the better right of the day. The waves were inconsistent today but there plenty of fun waves coming through.
Welcome to the surf report this is Jairo “Come Pan” and Matthew “Pledge” Craig. Today was a great day down here in Nicaragua, we went back up north and scored some pretty fun waves. It was chest to head high with some bigger sets, offshore wind, and warm water. Check it out!
