Somewhere in Nicaragua
Bummer. We’ve got overhead swell in the water today, but we’ve also got our 5th day of the year of onshore winds. (yes, we are spoiled) We stayed in San Juan Del Sur and shot some locals surfing in the Bay. Check it out.
Here is young Rex. Believe me, this guy surfs more than anybody you know…and it shows.
This is Jose, grabbing a nice left. All the groms surf in the Bay because they can’t get rides to the beach.
Here is Larry, showing us how to get up on a 1 footer. Larry had an impressive showing in the last contest and continues to improve.

Hey amigos! Welcome to Tuesday evening’s surf report from Colorados. The swell was bigger and stronger today, but it was very slow between the sets. I think the lack of a secondary swell combined with the sandbars not being in perfect shape made for long waits.

Hey everyone! Welcome to Sunday evening’s surf report from Panga Drops / French Fries. It was very clean, but smaller than yesterday which caught me off-guard. There were still some pretty waves for the handful of surfers that were out.
