The crowds are starting to appear.. like 20 people or so in the water this morning.. still a lot less people than my home break in San Diego though, with warmer water and better waves lol

The currents can be strong and sometimes an individual could get overwhelmed out there.. luckily we have an amazing crew of volunteers that protect the beachgoers. They are usually out of sight up in their lookout spots.. if you see them down at the beach and have some snacks or some words of appreciation please hook the boys up.

It was a barrel fest out there this morning but there were some corners too that were begging to get schwacked.

.. going to the moon! Yeah buddy look at that MJ #23 tongue out steezy

It was absolutely gorgeous this morning before it got too high the tide, I’d say about now we are approaching the mid tide and if I had to guess another barrel bonanza window down at our fav surf spot.

I heard Panga was big and fun this morning as well, but when the waves have this kind of shape it is no surprise why the majority of surfers chose this side of the beach.

When the moon hits your eye like a big pizza pie that’s Amore! When the sun shines through the wave like an emerald gem that’s Amore!

Kevin squeezing out of this one while the boat out the back drops off another crew of surfers to join in on the action.

A few A-framers were coming through the lineup as well giving everybody a chance to get in on the action.

Big Chuck Norris style roundhouse looking like Bruce Lee out there throwing down the hammer.

There was one fella out there this morning that was having his way with this wave as if it was his own little wavepool wave or something. This grom was frothing and getting shacked back to back and lapping a lot of the other guys out there.

Yeah dudey!! Super sick ones my friend! Keep charging bro I look forward to watching you surf for years to come because with talent like this the kid has the skills to pay the bills. Thanks for checking out our surf report coming to you daily from here on the Emerald Coast of Nicaragua. We look forward to you joining us down here soon. Hasta Pronto amigos!

FROM THE ARCHIVES

Hola amigos Happy TGIF to all you frothers out there! Today we had some of the most beautiful water color and incredible lighting, thanks to all this onshore and occasional rainy weather in the PM. The winds weren’t too bad (side shore / onshore) when I got down there to shoot and there actually some..
