PLAYA COLORADO

Getting some really good talented surfers in the lineup lately of all ages and they are making it look super fun out there.

Some of the new guys around the hood are finding some special hiding places.

Others are flying high so everybody can see them. This guy was absolutely ripping this morning and for sure was the highlight surfer of my photo session morning.

Our local charger Mateo has been stacking clips lately and you may have seen his latest clip posted to WSL IG.. he has a knack for finding the tube and he rarely squanders his opportunites. Much more often he disappears deep behind the curtain before zooming out. Yeeew bro!

Often times when he comes zooming out he doesn’t just kick out and go looking for another tube but instead..

he’ll do something like this and hit a fat float or crank a big cutback and shows that he isn’t just an excellent tube rider but rather an all around awesome surfer! Yeah dudey keep it up man love to see it.

My buddy Guido is staying with us in one of the beach front houses and has been scoring a bunch of waves. Today he is taking the twin fin fish out for a spin.

Faster than a speeding bullet he is out in the lineup and racing down the line on a nice peeling wave.

Before the rain clouds came it was a pretty nice day to take a walk on the beach and enjoy the company of an amigo or in this case an amiga.

Desiree was one of the few chicas in the water this morning and although I didn’t catch a photo of her surfing I’m sure she caught plenty before I spotted her coming in for a rest and throwing the shaka for the shot! Yeeeew yeah Desi!!

Hitting lips.. “it’s so good when it hits your lips.” Anybody know what movie I’m referring to?.. Frank the Tank ring any bells.

Seth is an awesome person, great guy, and an exceptional surfer as well. Watch out for that little snowball coming up in front dudey!

For the wave of the morning.. This guy was in the right place at the right time when this gem came rolling through and boy did he take full advantage of the opportunity. What a wave! What a place! What a time to be alive! God is great and life is full of stoke when your life is lived here. I hope you can make the journey and experience this atmosphere, this community, the vibe is surreal. Do yourself a favor and move this spot to the top of your must go to destinations.. I promise you will not be disappointed.
