A few chicks were able to paddle out this morning and we have to say that they were charging. Check out this cute lady riding a solid over head wave. Hey Chewy, check her out man, she does it better than you, uh!!!
The conditions were not the best ones, but as you can see on this shot there were still a few guys going out. If you are down here you definitively are going to score some waves, no matter what kind!
There is always at least one local surfer out every single day. Today Felipe “El Pipe” Chompipe was in the lineup doing his thing. Come on dude, you need more speed if you want to make this one!
On the last action surfing shot of the day we have Chewy just seconds away to bust the biggest air maneuver of his life. Hey Chewy, is your back still hurting?
Try to guess who is this?
Alright fellas, that’s all for today. Please make sure to check back with us tomorrow.
And before we sign off, we wanted to throw up a couple of pics from last night’s Birthday Party at the NSR Headquarters in SJDS. Our very own Roberto Carlos “Lucha Libre” Garcia turned 26 yesterday and we threw down a little bash for him. We had the whole NSR crew including Carlito Caliente, Hace Quesitos, Chewy, Miguel, Baloy, Pancho, Oliver, Busitos, Bujia and a few cameo’s from out of town and across the street. We mixed in a healthy portion of Tona, Flor de Cana and Cabilito Suave and cooked up a ton of Chicken, Rice and Filet. The whole thing got topped off with a sugar-laden slab of b-day cake and the first game of the NBA Finals. Yes, our boy Lucha grew a year older in style. Congratulations my friend. We look forward to many more years with you!
Shortly after the candles were out, Lucha’s daughter surprised daddy with a Nicaraguan Tradition – Icing in the face. This is from around 8:30 pm…and after many birthday shots from his friends. Looks like Lucha will be sleeping in tomorrow!
RECENT REPORTS
Hey everyone! Welcome to Saturday morning’s surf report from Panga Drops. The waves were very small today, but the morning window was favorable with the tide. Good for cruisin’!
FROM THE ARCHIVES
Hey everybody this is “Chewy” bringing you all the action from sunny Nicaragua. Dude, no lie the waves were fun! I was around shoulder high with some plus sets and offshore wind. The kicker was that there was nobody out. There were seven people in the lineup just having fun and catching waves.
This is Jairo “Come Pan” Panic and Mateo “Pledge” with the Wednesday surf report. Today we headed out to Maderas and the waves were about stomach to chest high, with offshore wind, and warm water. As you can see from this shot there was some love in the water today. Check out what got today!
